Haverigg 2

In addition to developing the original Haverigg 1 windcluster, we also secured all the necessary consents for the installation of a further four wind turbines on the Haverigg airfield. This project was initially financed and developed by The Wind Company UK Ltd and The Wind Fund. Construction started in April 1998 with the turbines being fully operational by the end of July 1998. Each of the four turbines is rated at 600kW. The Baywind Energy Cooperative subsequently raised the finance to purchase one of the four turbines with the remaining three now owned by Thrive Renewables.
